    The admission shall be on the basis of NEET exam.

    Admission is based on NEET.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Students seeking admission to the first professional B A M S course must have passed the 10+2 examination of the state board or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, (RGUHS)Bangalore, with English as one of the optional subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in the PCB Groups.

    Candidates who have passed the B.Sc degree examination of any university or any other equivalent exam conducted by statutory universities or boards with science subjects namely, chemistry, botany, and zoology, and have secured at least 50 % of the aggregate are eligible for admission to first professional B A M S provided the candidate has passed the P U C / H S C examination.

    • Students seeking admission of BAMS Course must have passed 2 year PUC or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as option & with a minimum 50% marks in these subjects.
    • NEET compulsory with a percentage of 50% for General Merit, for OBC & SC/ST 40% , for UR & PH 45%.
    • No Candidate shall be admitted unless he/she has completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission
    • Students who have passed an examination other than PU Bangalore should submit an Eligibility Certificate before admission, issued by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
    • Foreign students may seek admission to the B.A.M.S. degree, provided the parent University – the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore- recognizes the basic qualification of their home country, and they pass successfully in the examination conducted by the University.
