The Candidate should pass an Intermediate or Senior Secondary school certificate or equivalent, with the main subjects being Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and a pass percentage of 50% in aggregate, as well as individually in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories, the minimum percentage is 45% in the subject as well as the aggregate. Uttar Madhyama of Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwa Vidyalaya, Varanasi, with science (Biology Group) and English. An Examination of any other University/Board recognized by this University as equivalent thereto, or with at least 50% marks in aggregate of English, Physics, and Chemistry. Biology and pass in the Sanskrit subject of at least 100 marks.

The candidate should pass the 12th Standard with the science stream or any other equivalent examination recognized by the concerned state government and education boards, provided the candidates pass the examination with 50% aggregate marks in the subjects of physics, chemistry, and biology.
