• Admission to all programmes will be made in the odd semester of each session at the first year level based on the relative performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
• Candidates have to fulfill the medical standards required for admission as set out in the information brochure of JEE (Main) / or by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

Admission to IIIT Manipur will be purely on the basis of the All-India JEE (Main) examination administered by CBSE and the seat allocation will be through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Candidates are required to qualify through JEE (Main) and students aspiring to join IIIT Manipur have to apply through JoSAA.

• Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
