Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination of the 10+2 pattern conducted by the government of Tamil Nadu, AISSC, DSSC, CBSE, New Delhi, and ICSE, New Delhi are eligible to apply.

Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the UG Degree Programme must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University of Madras.
