An applicant with a full-time regular Undergraduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60 percent marks or 6.5 CGPA for General, Gen-EWS, and OBC-NCL category and 55 percent or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST category is eligible.

For admission, a candidate shall have appeared in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) as prescribed and conducted by AICTE, for the corresponding year.

• The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree (Regular) with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CPI on a
  10-point scale in aggregate or equivalent. A relaxation of 5% marks or 0.5 in CPI will be extended
  to the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) /Persons with
  Disabilities (PWD) category.
• A candidate must have appeared in CAT (in the year 2022 and/or 2023) or
  GRE/GMAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/SVNIT’s own test (the tests taken between May 2023 to May
  2024) with a valid score card.
• The students who are appearing in their final semester examination may also apply. However,
  they will have to submit an undertaking. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted
  provisionally, on the condition that they will complete the requirements of a qualifying degree
  with minimum marks
• Before the commencement of the programme, the selected candidates have to produce a
  provisional certificate of completion of the qualifying degree latest by 16th September 2024,
  failing which their admission will stand cancelled.
• The Institute/Department may specify additional requirements over and above these minimum
  requirements as stated above.

A candidate shall have passed the qualifying Bachelor's Degree examination with a minimum of 50% marks.

(a) a University situated in the Gujarat State

(b) a University situated outside the Gujarat State provided that the candidate shall have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Standard XII, 10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination from:

(i) The Gujarat Board; or

(ii) The Central Board of Secondary Education: Provided that

• The school in which the candidate has studied shall have been located in the State of Gujarat; or
• The school in which the candidate has studied shall have been located in the Union Territories of Daman and Diu or Dadra and Nagar Haveli; or

(iii) The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi: Provided that,-

• The school in which the candidate has studied shall have been located in the State of Gujarat; or
• The school, in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the Union Territories of Daman and Diu or Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

Subject to the provisions of sub-rules (1) and (2), a candidate who has appeared in the final year of the Bachelor’s Degree examination shall also be eligible to apply provided that he shall have passed the qualifying examination with 50% marks at the time of admission.
