Admission Details

Admissions to SVNIT Surat are granted on the basis of performance in the All India Engineering/Pharmacy/Architecture Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) conducted by CBSE, for MHRD, Government of India.

Admission is based on joint entrance examination (JEE Main). Notification of JEE Main is announced in dailies across India during September – December and is conducted in the month of May every year in various centers across India.

Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.

Candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12thclass examination or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class / qualifying examination.
