    The Admission is based on merit.

    The admission to LL.B. course shall be made on the basis of merit in the LL.B. Entrance Test.

    Eligibility Criteria

    A bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in any stream from a recognized university and has secured not less than 45% marks (for General category), 42% marks (OBC category), and 40% marks (for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) in a 10+2+3 pattern in the qualifying examination. Students appearing in the 2025-26 final year graduation examination may apply for admission to the LL.B. program, provided they have to upload their marks of the qualifying examination online before the declaration of the merit list.

    The eligibility criteria for admission to LL.B. Degree course is as follows:

    • For General candidates, Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree from the University of Delhi
      or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as equivalent by the University of
      Delhi with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade point in the aggregate in either
      of them.
    • For other backward classes (OBC) candidates, Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree from
      the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as
      equivalent by the University of Delhi with at least 45% marks.
    • For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) candidates, a Graduate/Post-Graduate
      Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University
      recognized as equivalent by the University of Delhi with at least 40% marks. ( As per
      Bar Council of India requirements)
    • Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general candidates
      will be allowed to widows/wards of ex-servicemen as prescribed and wards of
      serving personnel (CW) category who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards.
    • Relaxation of up to 5% marks in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general
      candidates will be allowed to the candidates belonging to physically handicapped
      (PH) category.
