Admission to the B. Tech degree programmes of NIT Calicut is based on the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) - Paper 1 and Paper 2 respectively. For information on JEE (Main).

Admission to the B.Tech degree course is on the basis of the All Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala.

Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.

Candidates must be 10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board of education.
50% marks in the qualifying examination.
Pass in the entrance test conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala.
