The admission for all PG courses of Engineering is done based on merit. The candidates will be admitted to each course based on first come first served basis by online process. However, the admission will be confirmed to a candidate after receiving his / her original certificates as per the eligibility norms of the University.

The selection of candidates for admission to the Postgraduate programmes will be based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination.

• B.E. / B.Tech. / A.M.I.E. in Biotechnology / Bioinformatics / Chemical Engineering / Food Processing Engineering / B.Pharm. / M.Sc. Life Science / Food Science and Nutrition / Biotechnology / Chemistry / Biochemistry / Microbiology or equivalent with a minimum of 50% in the qualifying examinations from a recognized University / Institution.

i) Minimum of 55% of marks in Master’s degree in any relevant area of Bioinformatics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Plant Biology/ Botany/ Animal Biology/ Zoology.

ii) Minimum of 55% of marks in B.Tech/B.E degree in Industrial Biotechnology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Food Technology, Bioinformatics, Chemical Engineering, Leather, Bioengineering, Information Technology, Information Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
