Admission Details
Students seeking admission to First year of Bachelor of Architecture must fulfil the eligibility criteria laid down by Council of Architecture and the University as applicable from time to time.
The admission processes are governed by the guidelines of Council of Architecture, New Delhi (COA) and the University. Course begins in the summer semester (July/August). Admission window opens when aspirant submits the National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA) exams are conducted by the Council of Architecture and JEE-2 every year, and application materials are made available to prospective applicants at this time.
The Admission process for B. Arch. Program consists of submission of application forms, declaration of merit list and counselling for application in the month of late June or early July.
The counselling sessions are co-ordinated by the faculty members under the guidance of the principal.
Physical Fitness: Applicants selected for the admission are required to produce a physical fitness certificate from the registered l Medical officer of the University only, at the time of admission.
a) For the candidate of Maharashtra State: In addition to educational qualification as specified, candidates are required to appear for MHT-CET and secure nonzero score to be eligible for admission for State Quota (65%) seats through Central Assessment Process (CAP). b) For candidates outside of Maharashtra State: In addition to educational qualification as specified, candidates from Maharashtra State as well as outside Maharashtra State are required to appear & qualify in JEE MAIN conducted by C.B.S.E., New Delhi for the Academic Year to be eligible for admission. c) For the candidates wishing admission under Management Quota : Candidates from Maharashtra State as well as from outside Maharashtra State having educational qualification as specified, are eligible for Management Quota seats provided they have appeared for MHT-CET conducted by the competent Authority or conducted by an agency (if any) including Association of all Pvt. colleges approved by Pravesh Niyantran Samittee. However, they are required to apply separately to the Management of the respective institutes for these seats. d) For Diploma holder candidates : After admissions of candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned at para (a, b & c) above, if the vacancies still exist after the cut-off date declared by the concerned Government authority, the Principal may admit diploma holders who have passed the diploma course in Engineering / Technology with minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction as English from Polytechnics affiliated to MSBTE or AICTE approved autonomous Polytechnics in Maharashtra State (for Maharashtra State Candidates) or such polytechnics situated in or outside the MH State (for outside Maharashtra State Candidates). Such admissions are also as per merit of candidates applied for the particular un-aided college.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate is willing to apply B.Arch.(5 years fulltime ) the program must have to pass ( 10 + 2) examination in physics, chemistry, mathematics along with NATA qualifying score as per COA Norms.
OR
10 + 3 Diploma recognized by Central /State Governments with Mathematics subject as per COA Norms.
All the admission Architecture degree course shall be subject to qualifying score of NATA exam as per Council of Architecture Norms, New Delhi.
Passed the HSC (10+2) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with following subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks (40% marks i.e. not less than 120 marks out of 300 marks for OBC candidates from Maharashtra) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together.
