• Admission for the seats shall be made strictly according to the merit
• 50% of the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry & Biology in the common entrance test conducted by Govt. of Karnataka.

1. Age: The candidate should have completed 17th years of age on 31st December; for the year in which admission is sought.

2. Qualifying exam: The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Scoring a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects. The English level should not be less than the core course prescribed by the NCERT.

• The candidates should have passed and have a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English of the second year PUC of Karnataka Pre-University Board or its equivalent examination. 
• For candidates belonging to SC/ST and Cat-I, a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English of the second year PUC of Karnataka Pre-University Board or its equivalent examination. 
• The candidates should have appeared for the common entrance test (CET) in Physics, Chemistry, and  Biology conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority, Govt. of Karnataka, Bangalore.
• The candidate should be 17 years of age as on 31st December of that academic year.
