Admissions in MBBS course will be done through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).

Candidate should be NEET (UG) qualified.  In addition, they must have got a rank in the merit list of NEET (UG) for admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses.

Academic Qualifications:

• Candidates who have passed the HSC examination (Academic Stream of 10 +2 curriculum) of any State/CBSE/ISC or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with the group of subjects specified below and obtained the minimum eligible marks prescribed are eligible to apply for admission to the course concerned.

MCI Norms:

• Candidates should have obtained the minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination as per National Medical Commission / Medical Council of India norms.
• Candidates must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Biotechnology in the qualifying examinations.
• In respect of candidates belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribes or other backward classes the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examination shall be 40%.
• In respect of candidates with benchmark disabilities specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology taken together shall be 45%

Age Limit:

• Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the academic year. Date of birth given in the HSC/CBSE/ISC marks sheet or in the Birth Certificate/ Passport shall be taken for the computing age of the candidate.

• Successful completion of 10+2 / H.S.C or equivalent qualification with individual passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany & Zoology/Biotechnology, and English from a recognized board, meeting the minimum requirements as per NMC norms. • Candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. 
• A valid NEET (UG) score as specified by the NMC/MCC. Note: Candidates are advised to refer to the NTA/MCC of DGHS/NMC for the detailed and final eligibility criteria.
