Admissions shall be made as per the prescribed Regulations of Gauhati University. The Common Entrance Test will be centrally conducted by Gauhati University. The students will be eligible to get admission in the TwoYearB.Ed course only when they get the requisite cut-off marks in the Common Entrance Test as per Gauhati University guidelines.

The Admission procedure is  will be admitted as per the merit list issued by Gauhati University.

A candidate eligible for admission into the B.Ed program offered by Gauhati University should be required to possess a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate either in Graduation or Post-Graduation in any stream from Gauhati University or any other recognized university. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for the candidates belonging to ST/SC/OBC and MOBC.

• Candidates of Gauhati University or any other university in the 10+2+3 (TDC) pattern with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's Degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.
• There is a relaxation of 5% marks/reservation of seats for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC and other categories as per the rules of the Government.
