Admission is based on the JEE Entrance Exam.

 The Selection Process in the obtained score in CET or JEE Main Paper I.

First Year Admission: 

Through CAP:

• Candidate must have passed 12th (10+2) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in Physics & Mathematics along with one subject: Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational.
• JEE appearance is mandatory.

Institute Level:

• Same eligibility as CAP (50% / 45% in Physics & Mathematics + one subject).
• JEE is not mandatory.

Direct Second Year Admission:

Candidate must be an Indian national and:

• Diploma with 45% (40% reserved)
• OR
• B.Sc. with 45% + Mathematics in 12th

The Candidate should be an Indian National:

b. Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together;

OR

Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);

OR

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);

c. Obtained score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

2. All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates :

a. The Candidate should be an Indian National;

b. Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together.
