Admission Details
Admissions to the B.Tech. programmes are made once a year in July based on rank in JEE-
(Main), conducted on an All India level by CBSE.
The selection is made on the basis of State Level Combined Entrance Examination conducted jointly by GBTU, Lucknow and MTU, Noida usually conducted in April. Qualified candidates can take admission in the institute based on their rank via Combined Counselling.
Eligibility Criteria
Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
For admission to first year of B. Tech. candidate must have clearly passed without grace, intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required subject combination of two compulsory subjects and one optional subject as prescribed by GBTU Lucknow and MTU Noida.
For Lateral Entry (LEET) - Eligible Diploma Holders (Engineering stream) and B. Sc. Graduates can get admission in second year on limited seats permitted by University via State Level combined entrance and counselling conducted jointly by GBTU, Lucknow and MTU, Noida.
