Admission through "JEE Main" means the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), New Delhi, for the concerned academic year;

The Admissions for Maharashtra State Candidates are done as below

i. For Maharashtra seats on basis of MH-CET

ii. For All India seats on basis of MHT-CET and JEE main in the order of preference

The candidate should be an Indian National;

Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and (Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or technical Vocational course) and (45% for candidates of backward class categories and persons with disabilities, candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only)

Passed Diploma course in Engineering & Technology with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of backward class category & persons with disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only)

For Direct Second-Year Lateral Entry:

Passed Diploma course in Engineering & Technology with at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of backward class category & persons with disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only) in an appropriate branch of Engineering & Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or a central or state government-approved institution or its equivalent.

Passed B.Sc Degree from recognized University as defined by UGC & obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% in case of backward class category & persons with disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only) & Passed HSC with Mathematics subject provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of engineering graphics/Engineering drawing & Engineering Mechanic of the first year Engineering program along with the second year subject.

• Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate and Outside Maharashtra State Candidates :

Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject

AND

Secured minimum 50 % marks (minimum 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject added together.

AND 

Obtained a positive Composite score* i.e., marks obtained after adding 50% of JEE (Main)  (Paper 1) marks and 50% of normalized Standard XII (Board or Equivalent Examination) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

• Eligibility Criteria for All India Candidates :

 Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject

 AND

Secured minimum 50 % marks (minimum 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject added together.

AND

Obtained All India Rank in JEE (Main) (Paper 1) given by CBSE
