    Convener Seats (Category - A Seats)

    • Convener seats means the seats earmarked from out of the sanctioned intake of seats in each course to be filled by the Convener of Admissions.
    • The category A seats shall be 75% of sanctioned intake of seats in each course in Un-aided Non-Minority, which shall be filled with eligible candidates on the basis of rank obtained at EAMCET and by following the rules of reservations laid down by the Government vide G.O. Ms.No. 53 Higher Education (EC) Department, dated: 10-05-2006.
    • All Category A seats shall be filled by the convener, EAMCET - 2010.
    • The candidate shall be of Indian National.
    • The candidate should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the Academic year for which the admissions are being conducted.
    • The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) or equivalent on the date of his/her counseling for admission and secured the rank at the Common Entrance Test conducted by the State and also satisfy other conditions laid down in the G.O.s.
    • The candidate should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

    Convener Seats (Category- B Seats)

    • The candidate shall be of Indian National or a Non-Resident Indian.
    • The candidate should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the Academic year for which the admissions are being conducted.
    • 25 % of Category B seats shall be filled either on the basis of rank obtained in EAMCET- 2010 or on the basis of rank obtained in AIEEE.
    • Vacant seats if any will be filled with eligible candidates including those securing not less than 50% of aggregate marks or 50% in Group subjects in the qualifying examination.
    • The Category B seats shall be 25% of the total intake of seats in each course in respect of un-aided Non-Minority and professional Institutions, which shall be open for admission to all the eligible candidates including candidates belonging to other States and union territories of India and NRIs on merit basis, following the provisions of rule 6. (iii) Within category B, seats not exceeding 20% of the total intake of seats may be filled, at the discretion of the Institution, with NRIs.
    • Refer GO.Ms.No. 53 and GO..Ms.No. 54 Higher Education (EC) Department dated 10-05-2006 for details. All admissions are provisional and subject to rules and regulations of JNTU, Kakinada prescribed for engineering courses and the rules and regulations as prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time. The admission of any candidate even if made, will be cancelled if such admission is found to be made contrary to the above referred rules and regulations at any time. In such cases, the candidate shall not have any claim whatsoever in any manner.
    • The following certificates have to be submitted in original at the time of reporting to the college, in case the candidate has not submitted them at the time of admission.
    • EAMCET-2010 Rank card & Hall ticket.
    • Marks Memorandum of Intermediate or its equivalent.
    • Memo of SSC or its equivalent.
    • Study Certificates from 6th class to Intermediate.
    • Residence Certificate for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination i.e. Intermediate or its equivalent in respect of Candidates who have private study without any institutionalized education.
    • Integrated Community certificate issued by the competent authority and Father's caste Certificate in case of BC/SC/ST candidates.
    • Residence certificate of father or mother for a period of 10 years in A.P. excluding the period of their employment outside A.P. from M.R.O. in case of Non local candidates.
    • Latest Income certificate issued by M.R.O. in case of SC/ST/BCC candidates if they claim exemption of tuition fee.
    • In case of Non-Local candidates, Service Certificate of Father or Mother if they are employed in Central Govt./State Govt./Quasi Govt./Public Sector.
    • NCC/Sports/PH/CAP certificates in support of their claim for admission under those categories.
    • In addition to the above certificates, candidates are advised to produce the following certificates to facilitate verification of caste claims. S.T./S.C./B.C Welfare Department Officials will refer these certificates if required.
    • Father's caste certificate in case of SC/ST/BC candidates.
    • Attested copy of Service Register (S.R) of Father in case of SC/ST/BC candidates if father is employed in Govt. /Public sector.
