A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree program in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects. The Engineering Diploma holders, based on their merit at ECET, are admitted into Lateral Entry (II year B. Tech Courses).

BITS Engineering College admits candidates through the Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET), conducted by AP STATE GOVERNMENT, on fulfilling the eligibility requirements and under management quota.
