The Admissions will be based on the merit list of the Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE Main).

The Selection for B.Tech. aspirants from Uttar Pradesh and outside UP can apply for JEE Main examination and are eligible for B.Tech. admission in Uttar Pradesh.  

The candidate from MP must have passed the 10+2 Exam from the Madhya Pradesh Board or any other Board with Physics and chemistry as the main subjects and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology as one of the optional subjects, with a minimum of 45% marks for General category candidates and 40% in case of SC/ST candidate.

The candidate from other states must have passed the 10+2 Exam from any recognized board with Physics and Chemistry as the main subjects and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology as one of the optional subjects, with 45% marks for General category candidates as well as SC/ST candidates.

The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P.Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to the first year of different courses shall be as follows:-
Compulsory Subjects: Physics and Mathematics
Optional Subjects (Any one of the following Subjects) – Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

For admission to the first year of B.Tech candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject taken together as given above.
