Admission to the Under Graduate programmes is  based on entrance examination conducted by the commissioner of entrance examinations, Govt of Kerala. Out of total seats , 15% is admitted  under Management Quota and 10% is under NRI Quota. Candidate will have to fulfill the basic requirements of admission, as stipulated by the University regulations.

Candidates with a pass in the Plus – Two Examination of Kerala Higher Secondary Board or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto, securing a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission.

• Pass in Higher Secondary Examination or the equivalent Examination recognised by the University of Kerala with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths put together.
• Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Education, examination or Examinations recognised as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical educations, after undergoing an institutional course of at least three years duration securing a minimum of 50% marks in Final Diploma Examination.
