Admission through Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) conducted by ASTU.

1. Be an Indian Citizen and a permanent resident of Assam.
2. Pass the Higher Secondary Examination of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, or its equivalent, in which the subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics have been cleared in the same sitting.
3. Pass the qualifying examination (as specified in ‘ii’ above), securing a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% in the case of Schedule castes and 40% in the case of Schedule Tribes) of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the same sitting.

• The candidate must pass the Qualifying Examination (10+2 Standard ) in a single sitting. without any grace marks in the Mandatory relevant subject/ courses at 10+2 level, and also must be passed individually both in theory & Practical (Refer Annexure I).
• Candidate must secure a minimum of 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category in the subjects taken together) in the Qualifying Examination (10+2 standards) as per AICTE Approval Process Hand Book-2024-2027 (Refer Annexure I).
• A candidate who passed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology under the State Council for Technical Education, Assam, with 45% (40% for reserved category) marks in the final Diploma Examination.
• The candidate must not be below 17 years on the date of Admission. There is no maximum age limit.
