Admission shall be made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.

The merit list of successful candidates will be compiled based on the marks obtained in the entrance test and the personal interview.

The Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification, equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.

The minimum educational qualification required for admission to the B.Ed course is a Bachelor's/Master's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% Marks.
