Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

The candidate has passed the intermediate Exam With a Minimum of 45% Marks In PCM of the U.P. Candidates must have passed a three-year Engineering Diploma in any branch of engineering (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy, and Architecture) without any grace with minimum 50% marks or three year B.Sc. degree without any grace with a minimum of 50% marks, plus having passed the 10+2 exam with mathematics as one subject.
