The admission to UG programmes is purely based on the marks obtained in the Higher Secondary examinations. The admission of students to all the programmes is through a Single Window Admission System, administered by Anna University. The higher secondary marks are scaled to 200, based on which the merit list/ ranks are released. Counselling is conducted based upon the ranking.

For Part-Time- Admission forms, applicable only to ACT, MIT and CEG. are released online in the website in the month of October. Rank lists based upon the diploma score are hence released and counselling is conducted based upon the ranking.

A pass in the HSC (Academic) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together as given below.

A pass in any one of the HSC (Vocational Subject) as given below with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with a minimum average percentage put together as given below.

For Part-Time- Completion of the Diploma with a minimum number of 2 gap years.

• Should have passed Plus 2/HSC level Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Computer Science or Biology from a recognized Board.
• Students should have scored a minimum of 60% of marks in the subjects identified in Plus 2 and Marks in the Interview.
