Admission to all courses is taken by the directives of Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. The relative merit of the qualified candidates is decided based on the rank in JEE. On the basis of merit and the choice of the candidates regarding the branch of Engineering and the Institution, the list of students admitted through counseling is received from JEE. Sometimes, if the seats remain vacant, direct admissions are also given vide Govt. of U.P. orders issued from time to time in this regard. In such cases, applications are invited by the Institution directly.

• The candidate has to appear and qualify for the UPSEE. Then, the candidate has to participate in UPSEE counseling.

• For admission to B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral Entry (2nd year), the candidate is required to choose the branch of his choice in Moradabad Institute of Technology, Moradabad (College Code – 082) through UPSEE counseling.

A pass in 10+2 exams with PCM/PCB with a minimum of 45% marks (for General/OBC)and 40% (for SC/ST) as an aggregate from any recognized Board/University.

A candidate can take admission in B.Tech. 1st year after 10+2

B. Tech. Lateral Entry (2nd Year) – 

A candidate can take admission in B.Tech. 2nd year (Lateral Entry) after Engineering Diploma or B.Sc.
