Admission to all courses is taken by the directives of Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. The relative merit of the qualified candidates is decided based on the rank in JEE. On the basis of merit and the choice of the candidates regarding the branch of Engineering and the Institution, the list of students admitted through counseling is received from JEE. Sometimes, if the seats remain vacant, direct admissions are also given vide Govt. of U.P. orders issued from time to time in this regard. In such cases, applications are invited by the Institution directly.

Admission process:

Admission shall be strictly on the merit of UPSEE & JEE-Mains for B.Tech.

Direct admission:

Applicant NRI / Management Quota.

For B. Tech, Direct admissions will take place as per the norms of AKTU (formerly known as U.P. Technical University) Lucknow.

A pass in 10+2 exams with PCM/PCB with a minimum of 45% marks (for General/OBC)and 40% (for SC/ST) as an aggregate from any recognized Board/University.

The candidate should have passed 10 + 2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one subject, Chemistry / Computer Science with a minimum of 50% OR UPSEE / JEE-Mains Qualified.
