• The admissions in B. Tech., B.Tech (Lateral Entry) (UG Program), MCA, and MBA programs shall be done through the counseling conducted by Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). However, the admission against the vacant seats will be done on a merit basis after the state-level counseling gets over. The admissions under lateral entries in B.Tech. 2nd year (against the vacant seats after counseling) will be done on the basis of the merit of the corresponding exam related to the eligibility criterion.

The selection is made on the basis of State Level Combined Entrance Examination conducted jointly by GBTU, Lucknow and MTU, Noida usually conducted in April. Qualified candidates can take admission in the institute based on their rank via Combined Counselling.

For First Year Admission: passed 10+2 with compulsory Subjects (Physics and Math’s) and one of the optional subjects (Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects) (With/Without grace) with 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to Reserved category).

For Lateral Entry: Passed diploma/BSc with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 12th Slandered 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to Reserved category).

For admission to first year of B. Tech. candidate must have clearly passed without grace, intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required subject combination of two compulsory subjects and one optional subject as prescribed by GBTU Lucknow and MTU Noida.

For Lateral Entry (LEET) - Eligible Diploma Holders (Engineering stream) and B. Sc. Graduates can get admission in second year on limited seats permitted by University via State Level combined entrance and counselling conducted jointly by GBTU, Lucknow and MTU, Noida.
