• The admissions in B. Tech., B.Tech (Lateral Entry) (UG Program), MCA, and MBA programs shall be done through the counseling conducted by Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). However, the admission against the vacant seats will be done on a merit basis after the state-level counseling is over. The admissions under lateral entries in B.Tech. 2nd year (against the vacant seats after counseling) will be done on the basis of the merit of the corresponding exam related to the eligibility criterion.

• Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

The Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or it’s equivalent from any recognized Board/ University with at least 45% marks for General Category or 40% marks for SC/ST Category without grace in Mathematics, Physics and one optional subject of Chemistry /Biology/ Computer Science.

Lateral Entry: Candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. with Mathematics with aggregate 45% for General Category or 40% for SC/ST Category. These seats are only for students who have passed qualifying examination from UP or UP Domicile.
