Admission Details
Admissions to the Institute are made along with the other Engineering colleges in the state through a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the Government of Telangana State.
Admission Process:
1. 70 % of the seats are allotted based on merit in the EAMCET.
2. 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.
3. In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in the second year of B. Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on the merit in the ECET, under the lateral entry scheme.
All the eligible applicants will have to pass the Entrance Examination conducted by the Government of Telangana. The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination keeping in view of the rules in force regarding the reservation of seats to various categories of candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Telangana State or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects.
A candidate for admission to the Four Year Degree course in Technology must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the Osmania University as equivalent thereto.
