Admission Details
1 The admissions to B.Tech programs shall be governed by the rules of the Technical Education and Skill Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal and/or any other competent authority authorized by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh for this purpose.
2 Admissions to the first year of all the UG programmes shall be made before the start of each Academic Year, through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by the Government, or on the basis of any other relevant Entrance Examination or eligibility criteria as decided and published by the Government from time to time
Admissions in B. Tech. courses are done by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Bhopal. Admissions through lateral entry are done directly into 2nd year in B. Tech. by the Directorate of Technical Education, Bhopal. affiliated to RGPV.
Eligibility Criteria
A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.
The student needs to qualify State Level Entrance EXAM or JEE Main.
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
