    Admission Details

    • Registration by the candidate for CAP is Mandatory / Compulsory, for admission against Centralized Admission Process (CAP) Seats as well as Institute Level Quota (ILQ) Seats,
    • After online registration candidate should take a printout of application form & visit one of the Facilitation center (FC) notified on DTE website, for confirmation of application form & document verification.
    • Candidate must carry all Original documents for verification while visiting FC.
    • Candidate must take an acknowledgment from FC after confirmation of application form.
    • Only those candidates will be included in the Merit list prepared by competent authority, who have confirmed their applications at FC.

    A) CAP Round Admission :

    • 80% seats admission are allotted through CAP rounds as per the guidelines published by SCET Cell / DTE, Government of Maharashtra, on website www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in 

    B) Institute Level Quota Admission:

    • The Institute level merit list (PCML / FCML) for the Candidates shall be prepared amongst the application received against 20% ILQ quota based on Merit number assigned by Competent Authority on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in MHT-CET conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra or JEE (Main) marks (As per the guidelines published by SCET Cell / DTE, Government of Maharashtra).

    Candidate should obtain non zero positive score in JEE Main Paper I or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in JEE (Main) Paper I over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET.

    Fifteen percent (15%) seats in the institution shall be allowed on supernumerary basis from amongst Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)/Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Foreign Nationals (FN)/ Children of Non Resident Indians (NRI) and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC) over and above of the approved intake of each discipline as sanctioned by DTE, Government of Maharashtra.

    The 1/3rd of the 15% sanctioned seats are reserved for CIWGC in each discipline and remaining 2/3rd of the 15% seats are for OCI/PIO/FN.

    • and Obtained Non-Zero score in MHT-CET conducted by the Competent Authority;
    • Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);

    ( All India Candidature Candidates, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates )

    • The Candidate should be an Indian National;
    • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies  and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together;

    (A) First Year. -

    (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

    (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

    Or

    (ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) ;

    (2) All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates. -

    (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

    (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and should obtain non zero positive score in JEE Main Paper I or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in JEE (Main) Paper I over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET.

    Or

    (ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) ;

    (3) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National. -

    (i) The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 45 % marks in the above subjects taken together;

    (ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

    (B) Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) Admission, -For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate, -

    (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

    (ii) Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent;

    Or

    (ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject : Provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second-year subjects.

    (iii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
