• The students are admitted into the four-year undergraduate programs in two categories. The first category, Category-A seats, constitutes 70% of the total seats in the college. The Category-A seats are filled through the Convener, EAMCET, Andhra Pradesh. The second category, Category-B seats, constitutes 30% of the total available seats. The Category-B seats are filled by the management through a newspaper advertisement.

AP EAPCET is an entrance examination held for admissions into various undergraduate professional courses offered at universities and colleges in Andhra Pradesh. These are called Category A seats. The selection procedure for admissions is conducted after the results of the examination are declared by JNTU. This process is known as counseling, which is usually scheduled in the month of June. Candidates will be called for counseling as per the rank obtained in the entrance exam, and 70% of the seats will be filled through EAPCET counseling. The EAPCET-qualified candidates will be allotted seats based on their merit, category, gender, local area, and, importantly, the availability of seats.

CATEGORY- A (Convener) seats: (70% of intake in each branch):-

1. The candidate shall be an Indian National.
2. The candidate should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the Academic year for which the admissions are being conducted.
3. The Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized as equivalent to Intermediate thereto.
4. The Candidates seeking admission should qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of AP. The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination, keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates.
5. The candidate should satisfy the Local/Non-Local status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order,1974 as subsequently amended.

The student should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed a Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
