Admissions for Category – Seats

Admissions are conducted by the Convener - EAMCET Admissions, through web counseling based on the EAMCET ranks of the candidates.

Admissions for Category – B seats

B- Category seats are filled by the Management of the college stipulated by APSCHE, Hyderabad.

• The Convener allotted 70% of the seats, based on merit, in the EAMCET (A-Category).
• 30% of the seats are earmarked for NRI/Management candidates (B-Category).
• Admissions for Category – A seats are conducted by the Convener, EAMCET Admissions, through web counseling based on the EAMCET rank of the candidates and the rules of reservation for admission into professional colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
• B- The college management fills category seats following the guidelines stipulated by APSCHE, Hyderabad.
• Candidates who have passed the two-year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education or its equivalent with not less than 45% of marks in the prescribed group subjects, i.e., Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (40% in case of SC/ST candidates), are eligible for admission. However, the order of priority for the selection of candidates for admission is the rank in JEE (Mains), rank in EAMCET, and marks in the prescribed group subjects in the qualifying examination.
• Admissions to the College are made along with the other Engineering Colleges in the State through a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh

Candidates who have passed the two-year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education or its equivalent with not less than 50% of marks in the prescribed group subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) are eligible for admission. However, the order of priority for the selection of candidates for admission is the rank in EAMCET, marks in the prescribed group subjects in the qualifying examination.

3 year B.Tech Programmes for Diploma Holders (Lateral entry)

Of the sanctioned intake in each branch of engineering 20% of seats as supernumerary seats are allotted to Diploma Holders for admission into II Year B.Tech directly. Admissions into II Year B.Tech through lateral entry for Diploma Holders are conducted by the Convener, ECET (FDH) Admissions through web counseling based on the rank obtained by the candidates in ECET (FDH) and the rules of reservations.

There are no B – Category (Management Quota) Seats for lateral entry into II Year B.Tech.

The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10+2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects.
