    Eligibility Criteria

    Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate :

    The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

    Secured minimum 45 % marks (minimum 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability – candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects added together.

    Eligibility Criteria for All India Candidates (Maharashtra & OMS) :

    The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

    • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2023 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2023; Or Passed minimum 3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) ; Or Passed three years D. Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector;

    All India Candidature Candidates, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates

    • The Candidate should be an Indian National;
    • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology biology Technical Vocational subjects Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and should obtain non zero positive score in JEE Main (B.E/B.Tech) or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2023 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2023. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non-zero positive scores in JEE Main(B.E/B.Tech) over the candidates who obtained non-zero scores in MHT-CET 2023; Or Passeda minimum 3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) Or Passed three years D. Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector;

    Lateral Entry:-

    For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate, -

    • The Candidate should be an Indian National.
    • Passed minimum three years or two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of Candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Sections and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in any branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent; or Or Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section, and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) and passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as a subject; Or Passed three years D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector ( refer Schedule III);
