Admission is based on the MHT-CET Entrance Exam.

A) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR DEGREE COURSE IN PHARMACY:

For: Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates.

• The candidate should be an Indian National
• Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together.
• Score in MHT-CET. The candidate must appear for Paper II as well as Paper I and/or Paper III.
  • Paper I: Mathematics
  • Paper II: Physics & Chemistry
  • Paper III: Biology (Botany) & Biology (Zoology)

For: NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries, Foreign Nationals.

• The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology and obtained at least 50 % of marks in the above subjects taken together.
• Any other criterion declared by the appropriate authority from time to time.

B) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO DIRECT SECOND YEAR DEGREE COURSE IN PHARMACY:

FOR: MAHARASHTRA STATE CANDIDATES AND ALL INDIA CANDIDATES.

• The candidate should be an Indian National
• Passed a diploma course in pharmacy with at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates from backward class categories and persons with disabilities belonging only to Maharashtra state).
• Any other criterion declared by the appropriate authority from time to time.

• The candidate shall have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M), and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects are individual.
• Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

B. Pharm lateral entry (to the third semester):

• A pass in D.Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
