The admission to the B.Tech. course, excepting NRI Quota, is through a State-Level Entrance Test called “Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test” (APEAPCET), conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. All eligible applicants have to qualify for the entrance test, EAPCET. The candidates will be admitted strictly following the merit secured in the EAPCET. The Convener-AC of APEAPCET admits the candidates based on marks secured in the Intermediate or an equivalent examination and the rank secured in APEAPCET.

Management Quota Admission Procedure:

The Management admits candidates for the Management and NRI quota based on merit. The candidates should have a first-class in Intermediate or a qualifying examination, or 50% secured in optional subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

The seats shall be filled either based on rank obtained in EAMCET or on securing not less than 50% in aggregate or group subjects (Maths, Physics, and Chemistry) in the 10+2 qualifying examination.

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, or any other examination as equivalent thereto.

• A Candidate should have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry group subjects
• Any other Examinations equal to Intermediate Recognized by the university
• They have to qualify in the EAMCET Conducted by the Govt of A.P.
• The department provides necessary training to impart employability skills to its students.
• The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the AP Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974 as amended from time to time.
