All candidates should register online on the TNAU Admission website and obtain the ranking. 65% strength will be admitted through Tamil Nadu Agricultural University(TNAU) and 35% by ACAR management adopting TNAU eligibility norms.

To be eligible, a candidate must have passed 10+2 science examination with PCB/PCBM/PCM/10+2 Agriculture, having scored not less than 50% marks in aggregate, with the condition that candidates coming from different streams must take remedial courses as prescribed.

• Candidates should have passed ALL the subjects in the Academic stream of the Qualifying Examination with 10+2 years of schooling under the Board of Higher Secondary Education of the Government of Tamil Nadu / Central Board of Secondary Education / Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations / other State Government Boards / other International Boards that are recognized.
• Candidates should not have completed the age of 21 years on the first day of July of the admission year
• For Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Caste-Arunthathiars (SCA), and Scheduled Tribes (ST), there is NO AGE LIMIT.
