Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility-

Students who studied one of the following groups in Higher Secondary (+2) are eligible to apply to Group I: Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science (OR) Group II: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science with any one of the following subjects as fourth elective subject: Biochemistry Biotechnology Microbiology Home Science (OR) Group IIA: Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, Physics, chemistry, biology, Computer science.

Minimum Mark-

The minimum percentage of marks eligibility for each category is listed below: Open Competition Category - 55% aggregate of all four subjects, BC and BCM Category - 50% aggregate of all four subjects, MBC and Denotified - 45% aggregate of all four subjects, SC & ST Category - pass in qualifying examination

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
