The admission to B.Tech. degree programme at NIT Uttarakhand is done through Joint Seat Allocation
Authority (JoSAA)/CSAB. Admissions were given on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) prepared by
JoSAA considering score in JEE (Main).

Admission will be made through HSTES Counseling or according to instructions/guidelines issued by HSTES.

Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Science Stream with (60% & 40% weight-age,
respectively) from any recognized board.

A candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
