Admission Details
The admission process is 50% of seats are earmarked for admission under the Government quota by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations. Admissions to the remaining 50% of seats are done by the Management, based on the score at the Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination and the marks scored for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the Plus Two examination. It includes the NRI seats also. Admission is strictly based on merit.

Eligibility Criteria
The Candidate should pass the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
