The admission shall be on the basis of MHT-CET/JEE Mains Paper -1 entrance exam.

Direct Second Year- The Process of admission for the session 2018-19 shall begin very soon. Students are advised to visit DTE Maharastra Website regularly. As soon as process begins visit Facilitation Center for document verification process. There will be centralized admission process (CAP) in the state of Maharashtra. Directorate of Technical Education (D.T.E.) Mumbai is competent authority and is publishing rules and regulations for the admission.

The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET and should obtain non-zero scores in MHT-CET, and should obtain non-zero positive scores in JEE Main Paper I.

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.

Admission to Direct Second Year - Seats Available for CAP filled by DTE, MS, Mumbai (20%of Intake).

Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate. -
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National.
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET and should obtain non zero scores in MHT-CET. Or (ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only); 

 All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates. - (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and should obtain non zero positive scores in JEE Main Paper I or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET and should obtain non zero scores in MHT-CET.

NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National. - The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry or Biotechnology, Biology, Technical, or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks in the above subjects taken together.

Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry)- Engineering /Technology

(1) For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate, -
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National.
(ii) Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent;
Or
(ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject.
