B.Tech admissions were conducted through the common entrance test (EAMCET) by the Andhra Pradesh state government.

Category ‘A’

Admissions under category ‘A’ (regular) are made by the AP state council of Higher Education through a common entrance test EAMCET. Preferred Institution after University Colleges.

Category ‘B’

Admissions under category ‘B’ (Management) are made by the college based on the merit in the common entrance tests like EAMCET, JEE.

15% Supernumerary seats can be filled with PIOs/Foreign Nationals in both B.Tech. And M.Tech.

The minimum qualification for admission into a 4–year duration Under Graduate course B. Tech is a pass in the Intermediate     (10 + 2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of AP State or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects.

• 70 % of the seats are allotted based on merit in the EAMCET.
• 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.
• In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in the second year of B. Tech to the extent of 20% of intake based on merit in the ECET, under the lateral entry scheme.

Candidates for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects.

All the eligible applicants for admission into First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of AP. The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates.
The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the AP Educational institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974 as amended from time to time.
