A student applying to NSB for MBA must have a valid CAT/GMAT/XAT/MAT/ ATMA/CMAT/KMAT percentile which is All India Aptitude / entrance test (approved by and directed by ministry of HRD, Govt. Of India).

Interview: Personal/Telephonic

While admitting candidates, the selection committee considers academic performance and test score, performance in the interview, prior work experience, level of maturity and motivation, ability and willingness to make a commitment to the graduate study in business, extracurricular achievements, honors and awards.

Bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate from any recognized university

• Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 or 4) with minimum 50% marks in any discipline from Universities/Institutions recognized by AICTE/UGC/AIU.

• Candidates can apply based on CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA and State CET tests where applicable, and as per AICTE guidelines.

• Applicants with work experience and/or additional educational qualifications will receive extra weightage.

• Those who have appeared for their final year examinations may also apply.

• NRI/company-sponsored candidates can seek admission based on their prior record, group discussion and personal interview. In order to obtain admission for the two-year full-time MBA program applicants need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria
