Admissions will be made for B.Tech Programme by the following criteria.

• Candidates have to be successful in KLEEE (KL Engineering Entrance Examination)/ JEE-Main/ JEE-Advanced /  State Level Engineering Entrance Exams across India including EAMCET and Merit in Sports/Cultural Activities.
• K L Deemed to be University accepts Uni-GAUGE score for B.Tech admissions.

Admission to B.Tech courses is done through the EAMCET common entrance tests conducted by the Govt. of Telangana. 70% of the seats are allotted for the merit students based on their rank in EAMCET. 30% of the seats are under the NRI/Management quota. In addition, diploma holders are admitted into second-year B.Tech to the extent of 20% intake based on merit in ECET, under the lateral entry scheme.

• A Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with 60% and above in aggregate and 60% and above in Group subjects.
• Students with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) are eligible for all B.Tech programmes including Bio-Technology.
• Students with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) are eligible for B.Tech (Bio-Technology) and B.Pharmacy.

1. Eligibility for admission to 1st year B. E /B. Tech programs

• I. The candidate should have passed the Intermediate Exam (10 +2) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects or any other examination of any other University or Authority accepted by the Director of Technical Education, as equivalent.
• II. The candidate should have qualified in the common entrance test conducted by the Telangana State Government, EAMCET. Ranks are allocated based on the performance in the test
• III. The candidate should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local/non–local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974, as subsequently amended.
