Admission Details
Candidates need not qualify for KEAM for admission
Candidates should qualify (a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II) in the Engineering Entrance Exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala (KEAM) and should be listed in the KEAM Rank List or JEE Eligibility.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India / Persons of Indian origin (PIO) /overseas citizens of India (OCI). PIO /OCI candidates are not eligible for any kind of reservation.
Academic Requirements:
i. Plus Two Marks: Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as Compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together.
ii. Entrance Examination: Candidates should be qualified in the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM) conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala. (Note: Candidates should have scored a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II), for both Government Merit seats as well as management merit seats.
NRI allotment: Candidates need not qualify for KEAM for the admission to NRI category. However, they have to fulfill the academic eligibility as per norms.
