The State CET Cell releases the Provisional Allotment Status of CAP Round(s) online at www.mahacet.org. The Centralized Admission Process (CAP) includes registration, document verification, and application form confirmation at any selected Setu Suvidha Kendra. It is conducted for admission to the First Year of Four Year duration Full Time Engineering and Technology program (B.E./ B. Tech). Candidates have to register on the official website of the State Cell of Maharashtra to participate in the Counseling of MHT CET.

1. Admission of Maharashtra State Candidates
2. The Candidate:
   • should be a citizen of India;
   • should have Passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least forty five per cent marks (at least forty per cent marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in PCM MHT-CET 2025 and obtained non zero score in PCM MHT-CET 2025 conducted by the Competent Authority;
   • OR
   • Should have passed a minimum three-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least forty-five per cent marks (at least forty per cent marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State only) ;
   • OR
   • Passed three-year Diploma of Vocation (D.Voc.) stream in the same or allied sector;
3. All India Candidature Candidates, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates.-
4. The candidate:-
   • should be a citizen of India ;
   • should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least forty-five per cent. marks (at least forty per cent. marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and obtained a non-zero positive score in Joint Entrance Test (JEE) (Main) for Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) or The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in PCM MHT-CET 2025 and obtained a non-zero score in PCM MHT-CET 2025 conducted by the Competent Authority:
     Provided that preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining a non-zero positive score in Joint Entrance Test (JEE) (Main) Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) over the candidates who obtained a non-zero score in PCM MHT-CET 2025; (These candidates are eligible to apply for all 29 major disciplines declared by AICTE)
   • OR
   • Should have passed a minimum three-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least forty-five per cent marks (at least forty per cent marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State only) ;
   • OR
   • Passed three years Diploma of Vocation (D.Voc.) stream in the same or allied sector;
   • And 
   • Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry)- Engineering /Technology (3 Years duration)
   • For Maharashtra State Candidates and All India Candidates.-
     • should be a citizen of India ;
     • should have passed a minimum of three years or two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least forty-five per cent. marks ( at least forty per cent. marks in case of Candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in any branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or Central Government or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent;
     • OR
     • should have passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least forty-five per cent. marks ( at least forty per cent. marks in case of candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) and passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as a subject;
     • OR
     • should have passed three years D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector; and
     • OR
     • Any other eligibility criteria and requirements declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

1. Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Candidates / Jammu & Kashmir Migrant Candidates / All India Candidates (AI)
   1. The aspirant should be an Indian National
   2. Should have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects.
   3. Should have obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together.
   4. Furthermore, the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non-zero scores in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

2. OR

   1. Should have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology by obtaining at least 50% marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
   2. Obtained score in MHT CET 2020.
   3. Obtained score in JEE(Main) Paper I or MHT-CET 2020.

3. Eligibility Criteria for Children of NRI/OCI/PIO, Children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC), Foreign National (FN) Candidates

   1. Should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects
   2. The candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in the above subjects taken together.
