Admission Details
JEE Mode: Admissions through the JEE (Main) marks is limited to the single degree programmes only.
UGEE Mode: Admission to all research-based dual-degree programmes will be through a new mode called UGEE. Admission in this mode is based on an entrance examination followed by an interview. This admission mode is to identify students with a strong aptitude for research.
Qualifying examination for Admission - PET & JEE (Mains)
Admission to all the courses is conducted through Central Online Counseling administered by Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh. The dates and other details of such counselling are displayed through advertisement in local newspapers as well as their official website (www.cgdteraipur.ac.in). However, admission under Sponsored Category, Part Time courses and management Quota seats are administered at the Institute level.
Eligibility Criteria
Obtaining a minimum of 60% marks in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry in Class XII.
Candidates must pass Intermediate Examination or equivalent (10+2 Level) from any recognized Board/University with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
For Lateral Entry (LEET) Second Year
Passing three-year diploma in engineering from any recognized Board/University/Institute with minimum 45% marks (aggregate) or with minimum 45% marks in the final year for UR category and 40% for SC, ST, OBC category and PWD candidates of Chhattisgarh is essential.
OR
Passing B.Sc exam from recognized Universiy/Institute with minimum 45% marks (aggregate) or with minimum 45% marks in the final year for UR category and with 40% for SC, ST and OBC category and with 40% for SC, ST, and OBC category and PWD candidate of Chattisgarh is essential. In addition, passing 12th with mathematics as the subject is essential. B.Sc candidate shall be considered only when diploma candidates are not available.
