Admission is based on obtaining a non-zero score in JEE or CET, as per the guidelines prescribed by the Director of Technical Education, Govt. of Maharashtra eligible for First-Year Engineering admission.

The student should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

The  HSC (10+2) or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject (45% marks for reservation category).

Lateral Entry

Diploma in Engineering, with 50% marks (45% marks for the reservation category), is eligible for Direct Second Year Engineering admission.
