• The applicant will receive an email on the registered email address with login credentials and URL. 
• Students can log in to the portal with their credentials. They can enter other details like education details, CV, recommendation letter, competitive exam details etc. and submit the necessary documents.
• All the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an interview at IIIT Bangalore. 
• The final list of candidates to be admitted will be decided after the interview.

Admissions to the four years B.Tech. Program in the IT branch of the Institute is made through Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)/JoSAA. Based upon the merit in JEE (Mains).

• For applicants to Master of Science by Research in Computer Science, a four-year bachelor's degree in engineering (B.E., B.Tech. or equivalent) is required.           
• A valid GATE score is required for admission to both MSR and PHD programmes.

The candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12thclass examination or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class / qualifying examination.
