Qualifying examination for Admission - Through Pre MCA Test/NIMCET.

A candidate seeking admission to MCA Course should be a Graduate with at least 50% marks and 45% marks in case of SC, ST, OBC (excluding Creamy Layer) category of Madhya Pradesh in aggregate of any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or Institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto. Recognized Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration with Mathematics at (10+2) level or at Graduate level.

MCA aspirants are required to appear at the Pre-MCA Test being conducted by CGVYPAM. Any candidate who has completed his/her Graduation (three years duration) with at least 50% marks at the Graduation level and having Mathematics as a compulsory subject at the (10+2) level are eligible for admission to MCA course. However, such admission will be done through counseling to be conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Chhattisgarh and will be as per norms of Chhattsgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai. 75% of the seats are reserved for candidates with CG domicile and 10% Other State Quota, whereas the rest 15% is reserved for Management quota.The dates and other details of such counselling are displayed through advertisement in local newspapers as well as their official website (www.cgdteraipur.ac.in).

Lateral Entry Second Year

Passing three year degree in BCA or B.Sc (Information Technology/Computer Science) from any recognized University/institute with minimum 50% marks for UR category and 45% marks for SC, ST, OBCcategory and PWD candidates of Chattisgarh is essential.

Passing 10+2 (12th) or degree level examination with one of the subjects as Mathematics is essential. Allied subjects of mathematics such as Business Mathematics, Basics Mathematics etc., are not acceptable. Although higher subjects of mathematics like advanced mathematics is acceptable.
